Latitude Data Breach Privacy Complaint

We have lodged a representative complaint at the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) against Latitude Financial, for serious security breaches which have compromised the personal information of past and present customers.

Latitude has confirmed that the following has been stolen:

  • 7.9 million driver’s license numbers;

  • 53,000 passport numbers; and

  • 6.1 million customer records which include personal information.

The breach has affected millions of past and present customers of Latitude Financial and is one of the biggest in Australian history.

We have chosen to conduct this representative complaint at the OAIC in relation to Latitude’s data breach in conjunction with law firm, Gordon Legal.
