NSW Junior Doctors Class Action
We have reached a landmark settlement with NSW Health for $229.8 million (inclusive of legal and other costs) for junior doctors across NSW.
Terms of settlement, including the establishment of a settlement administration scheme, were approved by the Supreme Court of NSW in August 2024.
ACT Junior Doctors Class Action
We have achieved a settlement of $31.5 million for junior doctors in the ACT for their unpaid overtime.
The settlement reached, including the process for claims assessment and settlement distribution, were approved by the Federal Court of Australia on 18 December 2024.
Victorian Junior Doctors Class Action
We have reached an in-principle settlement for Victorian junior doctors for recovery of their unpaid unrostered overtime in the total sum of $175m.
The proposed settlement is still subject to Court approval, scheduled to be heard by the Federal Court of Australia in September 2025.
We have commenced an investigation on behalf of Tasmanian doctors to recover their unpaid overtime.

Tasmanian Doctors Investigation

Latitude Data Breach Investigation
Hayden Stephens and Associates, together with Gordon Legal, are investigating a potential legal action against Latitude Financial, for serious security breaches which have compromised the personal information of past and present customers.
Latitude has confirmed that the following has been stolen:
7.9 million driver’s license numbers;
53,000 passport numbers; and
6.1 million customer records which include personal information.
The breach has affected millions of past and present customers of Latitude Financial and is one of the biggest in Australian history. More information about the breach is still being uncovered, but as of 27 March 2023, it is estimated that the private data of up to 8 million past and current customers has been stolen.
